After several years studying to become a teacher, she knew her true calling was behind the chair, and pursuing her dream, completed the Academy of Excellence stylist education in 2024. Launching her career at Heartwood, she worked as an associate under the mentorship of our senior stylist Lindsay, quickly developing her talent, and honing her industry skills. With incredible instincts for technique and client experience, Emily is unbelievably sweet, dedicated to the details, and ready to welcome you in for a weekly blowout, freshening haircut, lightening or solid colour service. When she’s not living her dream in salon, you’ll find her cooking, horseback riding or skiing.

Originally from Alberta, Megan made the move to Vancouver in 2017 to complete the Hair Pro program at Blanche Macdonald. Following graduation, she moved to Calgary to complete her Journeyman Hairstylist Certificate, before returning to BC to continue her passion as a stylist. Megan’s signature soft and natural balayage techniques, sew in weft extensions, immaculate wedding and event looks, and sweet, genuine approach have made her a highly sought after addition to the Heartwood team. She is passionate about building confidence for her clients through promoting their healthiest hair yet. In her free time she enjoys going to the gym, and exploring new coffee shops.
